As a wannabe foodie, you can expect the occasional food post to pop up on here from time to time. Like this little kitchen hack for the simplest and yummiest guac and salsa you ever did make!
2 Ripe Avos, 1/2 Red Onion, 1/2 Lime, Cherry Tomatoes, Coriander 1 Red Chili
Scoop your avos into a bowl and mash with a fork until you’re happy or you’ve worked out the days anger issues. I meditate in the mornings to make sure my guac stays chunky.
Finely dice your onion, chili and tomatoes then add into the avocado. Followed by a squeeze of lime, some roughly chopped coriander and mix.
Season with salt, pepper or more limes to suit your taste. Aslo you can add more chili if you like a kick like I do!
SALSA VERDE INGREDIENTS:
2 Large Vine Tomatoes, 1/2 Red Onion, 2 Red Chilis, Coriander (unless your coriander hating boyfriend is home, then swap for spring onions) Garlic, Olive Oil.
Finely cut your two big ol’d toms and put in a bowl big enough to mix all together at the end.
Get your garlic, onion and chilis cut into fine pieces too as they are the stronger flavours, then roughly chop your coriander/spring onion and mix all together. If you feel it needs it, add a dash of olive oil but I found the tomato juices sufficed. Give the lime a good squeeze over the top and again, season to taste.
