There are times now and then when you just can’t find your mojo, and nothing is feeling like it fits. It’s about as uncomfortable as when you wear socks and trainers on a day when you should most certainly have flipflops or sandals on. No one else can tell that things aren’t quite right, but you are more than aware. You know you just want to say to yourself “Baby, come on. Suck it up and lets get on with it.” but you don’t even know where to start.
This week has been one of those weeks. It’s been a little bit busy in my head and thrown me off track. It just feels hectic up there; if you’d be interested in reading the on goings in a post, let me know and I’ll try and unravel my thoughts.
A while back, when things were a little smoother, I jotted down a list of “happys” and actually posted them on my old blog. I’m going to repost them on here for you to read over. These are things that I like to hold myself to and they just set me in a better stead for the week. They never fail me.
Eat better. Run more. Squat more. Sleep earlier. Wake earlier. Make a good breakfast. Drink water. Eat fruit. Read books. Adventure. Talk less. Listen more. Feel deeper. Love better. Open your eyes. Experience life. Be happy. Educate yourself. Sip coffee. Chug green tea. Dance on the table.
Sand underfoot as often as possible. Sun on neck. Stamps in passport. Enjoy time. Travel far, wide and often. Seep happiness. Kiss lots. Let nice things happen. Under promise. Over deliver. Be free. Don’t owe anyone anything. Laugh. Buy plants. Dress well. Photograph everything. Be open to learning.Explore. Be open to being in the wrong. Appreciate. Don’t hold grudges. Celebrate all success. Live fiercely.
Just remember that if you’re having a down, off course, or maybe just a busy week, don’t punish yourself for it! What do you say to yourself to help get back on the horse?
